Geico is renowned for their advertising and their gecko mascot, but what really lies behind the company?

Geico's registration process is extremely speedy, and takes an average of 15 minutes on the phone.
Their rates are also proven lower than the rest of the market.
The downside, however, is that the competition offers vastly better coverage than geico.
As a result, i would consider geico only if you require insurance by law, and you don't actually need the coverage.
